Who are we?
Zero Carbon Records is the project of Manu Louis and Sylvain Chauveau, two nomadic musicians based in Western Europe (Germany, Spain, Belgium, France).
Sylvain Chauveau
Composer and performer of slow, minimalist, and quiet music. Has released many albums on labels such as FatCat and Sub Rosa, and has performed live in Europe, Asia, and North America. Featured on the compilation XVI Reflections on Classical Music (Decca) alongside Philip Glass, Gavin Bryars, and Ryuichi Sakamoto.
Manu Louis
Belgian composer, musician, and singer based in Berlin. Over the past 10 years, he has performed solo more than 900 times in Europe and Asia. He has also composed numerous chamber music pieces and collaborated with Ilan Manouach, Escif, Systaime, Garrett List, Igloo Records, and Front de Cadeaux.
