Zero Carbon Fest
Zero Carbon Fest is a music festival showcasing entirely zero-carbon performances. Artists must travel to the venue with no CO₂ emissions and use only decarbonized electricity—or no electricity at all—for their concerts. Only natural light should be used. Apart from concerts, the festival can also feature workshops and lectures related to the topic.
Pedal-Power Electricity
To power the performances, the festival uses stationary bikes pedaled by the audience. The energy generated by the bicycles is converted into electricity using a generator. This setup provides power for the artists' equipment and amplification, while adhering to the festival's zero-carbon protocol.
Acoustic Concerts
Artists can also be invited to perform without electricity, fully acoustic and unplugged.
