Zero Carbon Tour

Zero Carbon Records has been developing a touring concept with no greenhouse gas emissions: no fossil fuels are used for the artists' travels or performances.

Since 2023, several tours have taken place in the Netherlands, Belgium, and France. The longest lasted almost three weeks (approximately 650 km travelled by bicycle for 8 concerts), while the shortest took place over two days (two concerts per day, with the artists travelling by running, approximately 60 km in total).

Artists perform without electrical amplification, 100% acoustically — or with a sound system powered entirely by decarbonised electricity (for example, the autonomous electricity system developed by Gaia Stage, which is powered by pedaling on static bicycles).

Concerts were held without artificial lighting. Some shows also included talks on culture and carbon footprints, lectures on Zero Carbon Records, or workshops.
